Car

This is interpreted as a four door hatchback, a family car or a station wagon this determines a car only. Your tribe (passengers) must stay inside this moving vehicle at all times, you will not be able to disembark along the parade route due to safety reasons. You are welcome to have participants walk behind this vehicle. They must stay within the guidelines of your marshall. 

Van

The transporter panel van, two wheelbases with an option of three roof sizes compartment volume from 5.8m' and up. Maximum load height of 1.940 for high roof models. If this is a closed unit, passengers must stay inside this moving vehicle always. You will not be able to disembark along the parade route due to safety reasons. Should your intention be to incorporate passengers on the roof of this vehicle WIPP would need to be consulted and safety measures adhere to.

* All vehicles must have a current warrant and registration, you will submit the name of your driver who will hold a current NZ drivers licence. This will be signed off on the day, this is strictly enforced by the Wellington City Council, therefore, we at WIPP will comply. Failure to provide this information would mean forfeiting your float. Should details change closer to the date (eg. type of vehicle used, the person driving vehicle, the number of participants) WIPP must be informed immediately, so proper amendments can be actioned.
