Costing will be determined on an individual basis by the WIPP parade coordinator, we stand by their decision and will deem the decision final. In saying that, fair consideration will be supported. Classifying large vehicles falls into three categories, Road Truck, Heavy Haulers, and Off Road Heavy haul Trucks. Please note each of these vehicles will need permits provided and a specialised licensed driver. Numbers of participants must be registered and a design will need to be submitted to WIPP along with your application. Each large vehicle will have a member of our WIPP team available for inspection of your float, one week prior to the parade date. Your design will remain confidential and if WIPP can be of any support please advise. 

* All vehicles must have a current warrant and registration, you will submit the name of your driver who will hold a current NZ drivers licence. This will be signed off on the day, this is strictly enforced by the Wellington City Council, therefore, we at WIPP will comply. Failure to provide this information would mean forfeiting your float. Should details change closer to the date (eg. type of vehicle used, the person driving vehicle, the number of participants) WIPP must be informed immediately, so proper amendments can be actioned.
